DuPont®, a leading American chemical company, has forged a partnership with Pacific Paint (Boysen) Phil's. Inc. to launch Virtuoso™ Silk Touch™, a groundbreaking creation that will set the new gold standard for paint in Asia.
The merging of Boysen's pure acrylic technology and Dupont's trademark invention teflon will formalized on March 10 between Johnson Ongking, vice-president of Pacific Paint (Boysen) Philippines and James Forte, global brand IP licensing manager of DuPont® Titanium Technologies who will be flying in from the U.S.
Virtuoso is the only paint that combines the elegance of matte finish and easy clean feature. The teflon component, known to be the most slippery substance on earth provides a blanket of resistance against common household stains. Catsup, color markings, fingerprints and other common stains are easily removed using soap and water. It is now possible for decorating professionals to achieve the elegant matte finish without sacrificing washability.
All these features combined with its odourless and low VOC properties make this innovation the first luxury paint in the Philippine market today.
Pacific Paint (Boysen) boasts a 70 percent share in the Philippine market today and belongs in the Coatings Agenda Top 50 Paint Companies in the World. DuPont®, on the other hand, operates in more than 70 countries around the world and offers a wide range of innovative products and services for markets including agriculture, nutrition, electronics, communications, safety and protection, home and construction, transportation and apparel.
